The Global Coalition against Daesh was formed in September 2014 and is unique in its membership, scope and commitment. Together, the Global Coalition is committed to degrading and ultimately defeating Daesh. I worked closely with The Foreign and Commonwealth Office to conceptualise and create counter-Daesh propaganda using a confidential range of statistics and stories they provided. Resulting in an ongoing viral campaign comprising of short animated stories, shareable graphics and powerful films. We then translated the content into French and Arabic and pushed it out onto social media platforms with the aim of dissuading young radicals by engaging in a new narrative. I was also lucky enough to attend a private think-tank and workshop, held for highly regarded representatives of the 68 Coalition countries. The meeting took place within the prestigious halls of the FCO headquarters in Westminster. This unique event challenged me to conceptualise a series of counter-Daesh campaigns briefed to me by the members. Each idea was then designed up for each group on the spot, all in under an hour.
